What We Offer
ConverterKit provides free, browser-based file conversion tools including PDF conversions, image tools, and data format transformations. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly — nothing is sent to our servers.

Acceptable Use
ConverterKit is provided for lawful personal and commercial use. You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or exploit any part of the platform
- Conduct automated scraping, crawling, or bot-driven mass usage that disrupts service
- Distribute malware, harmful code, or any content that damages others' systems
- Misrepresent your identity or the origin of any files you process
You are solely responsible for the files you convert and any content processed through the tools. ConverterKit has no visibility into your files.
Your Files & Data
Because all conversions happen entirely in your browser, ConverterKit never receives, stores, or has any access to your files or their contents. You retain full ownership of everything you convert.
Your files are loaded into your browser's local memory only. When you close the tab, the data is gone. We cannot access, recover, or share what we never received.
You warrant that you have the legal right to convert any files you process using ConverterKit. We bear no liability for copyright infringement or misuse of third-party content.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, branding, and materials on theconverterkit.com — including the ConverterKit name, logo, and interface — are the property of ConverterKit and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the site without written permission
- You may not use the ConverterKit name or logo in any way that implies endorsement
- Converted output files produced by our tools belong entirely to you
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
ConverterKit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce perfectly accurate results in every case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConverterKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including loss of data or business interruption.
We strongly recommend keeping originals of any files you convert. While our tools are reliable, no software is infallible.

Continued use of ConverterKit after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will never retroactively change terms in a way that harms your existing rights.
